“Great little place, wonderful hosts, perfect location”

This is a cozy little B&B and a great place to stay on the North Shore. The location is great with several state parks very close by and just a short drive to a nearby small towns with restaurants, etc. The hosts were fantastic--very friendly, knowledgeable about the local area (gave great recommendations for everything from restaurants to hiking trails),... Gitche Gumee was a very lovely place to spend a couple of nights. The lakeview room featured not only a lake view but deer sightings too. The view of the lake and the privacy and quiet of the property were perfect for relaxing...and the scones and coffee were first class! More

This is a great B & B if you are looking for a clean comfortable place to crash at a reasonable price. I believe there are 4 rooms at this place. We stayed in room 4 which had a queen size select confort bed and the windows overlooked the lake. We got to wake up to the sunrise over Lake... More
