The elevators were horribly slow and the overall cleanliness was not good. The Liffey had great food and I thought the staff was as friendly as could be but given the choice, I would never stay there again. It's probably a great place for drunk hockey fans but not business travel. More

Do yourself a favor and stay somewhere else it is dated and dirty, carpet was wet smelled like mold, tv got overheated and would shut down. The location is fair, the rooms are less than desireable. Parking is nearly $16/day. The bar is overpriced. And it looks like it has been a very long time since the last update. Additionally, the pretentious little jerk at the front desk argued with me not wanting to enter my priority club number. Will not be returning. More

Stayed at this hotel a couple of time because of it's location in downtown St. Paul. It is connected to a parking ramp so no worries about parking. The price was very good for a downtown location. The bar/rest (The Liffey) had great food and drink. More

Recently spent one night here with a group that had 3 rooms. We had no issues with anything during our stay. We were able to check in slightly early. If you are in town to attend a game/concert at the X-Cel energy center,this is the place to stay. It also has numerous restaurants nearby along 7th St.West.
