A typical Aloft with a better than average location. Lots of restaurants nearby, though it isnt really in the heart of downtown. Sanctuary across the street is excellent and there is a good sustainable seafood restaurant nearby. This is a good hotel for the price but it looks like an Ikea store. The bed wasn't the most comfortable and there is no tub, closet (just a curtain divider on a wall inset) and a small bathroom counter. Trendy look and feel but no room service if you like that. My daughter and I stayed at Aloft for two nights while we were in town visiting the University of MN Twin Cities. What a great find! It has a really fun, modern vibe with the lobby bar and lounge. My daughter is a runner and she absolutely LOVED the running paths that are practically two steps from the hotel door.... More
