Our room was very nice sized with two comfortable beds, frig, TV. Very clean, (which I am very particular about) and great service. Very friendly owner and super accommodating. Would definitely recommend and would stay at again!!

Don't miss this place if your in Jackson!!! Very clean and comfortable with great service! I'm never sure about a locally owned non franchised motel however I'm was extremely impressed with everything especially the great prices. Highly recommend!!

I stayed here one night in July, 2012. It is an American owned Mom & Pop place and they have updated it recently. My room was very clean, comfortable and nicely decorated. Found this mom-and-pop motel on the web. What a delightful facility, run by a great husband-and-wife team. The motel is really built into a small, man-made hill and the rooms are really underground (at least the lower half of each room). We stayed here 2 nights and the motel is clean but very dated. Also, the motel is for sale. Beds are not comfortable unless you prefer to roll to the middle...even then.

I decided to give this place a try based on the novelty factor. It claims to be America's first underground motel. The folks who run this motel are very nice, and the price was only $39 +tax. The motel was built around 1982, and it shows in the decor. The rooms have been redecorated, in a wildly tasteless paint scheme.... More
