We currently visited Safari Joe's hotel/ water park. I must say that my five year old son really enjoyed his time in the water park. It was small, but was very clean and well maintained. The new lobby area plans look very good, and I know they are in the process of changing hotel chains. We visited over Spring Break...and... More

I am currently here. Don't expect WIFI, A good Breakfast, or for your bed to be made if you are staying more than one night. You should plan on bringing your own alcohol, as they don't have a liquor license. Dont even try to bring food in, they want you to buy there overpriced stale food from their eatery. The... More

I recently took my kids here to get them away from their grandpa dying. The lobby was all construction, our toilet was lungged as soon as we got in the room, and there were stains on the comforter. There were two lifeguards that also frequently stood close together talking to each other or to 2 boys that were there. When... More

After reading the other reviews, I was hesitant, but we had a very positive experience this past weekend! This is a perfect destination for those with children under 12. The waterpark has 2 larger slides that adults and kids can do ( 1 tube, 1 body slide)--I did the tube one myself and thought it was quite fast! The area... More

went with a group with 7 adults and 6 kids ages 8mon-8years. the place is very small, (picture a highschool gym size with a splash pad, lazy river, small pool, large hot tub and 2 large slides all crammed inside of it). pros: the water is warm, the place was relatively clean for all the people that were there, there... We pass this hotel often, and decided to stay for an overnight. The online booking was very convenient, but we didn't find out until we arrived that it is actually a Fairfield Marriott and we could have used a family and friends discount if we had known. No where on the website does it state that this is a Fairfield.... More

We had a small birthday party here for my 6 and 5 yr. old daughters and their cousins... We are semi-local so did not stay, just walked in for the waterpark. First off after reading the other reviews here and elsewhere, it would seem that some people didn't have realistic expectations going in as to what this place would be.... More

Thank you so much for your input. We have just recently hired an Aquatics Manager and he will be helping us to turn our Water Park back into a 5* as you stated. The staff is currently undergoing retraining. I'm sorry to hear of the issues you encountered and I hope next time you return that everything will be back... More

Went in March. Snowing outside. No double door for entrance, so cold air comes right in to water area. Water and air temp should be a little higher to be comfortable. They ran out of towels. We are local so didn't stay at hotel. Changing facility is a bath room with little privacy (door to hallway exposes majority of men's... More

I am sorry you didn't have a great experience with our property. The hours of operation have been a great success for us. The 8am-1030am is usually hotel guests and check out is at 11. This gives the guest ample time to go back to their rooms and check out. The 1145-3 is the session that we have our most... More

We visited the water park only. First, if you do decide to go beware of the hours. They are open for 2 1/2 hours on Sunday. Saturday they are open from 8 -10:30 and then close until 11:45. We called ahead and had to leave a voice mail and never received a call back (called a week ahead). The life... More

This hotel is under renovations ... I was willing to "give them that" even though they failed to mention it when I called to make the reservations. HOWEVER, that was no excuse for the lack of ammenities in the room (not enough blankets, pillows, towels, etc). I called the front desk to ask for a pillow and blanket, was told... More
