Spacious, clean and comfortable bedroom with good size bathroom. The room was quiet and we had two good nights sleep. Breakfast was left ready in the fridge and in Tupperware containers, plenty and lovely. This was a great idea and the arrangement suited us perfectly as we were able to eat in the room when we wanted to. We had... More

had a two day course nearby and booked based on other reviews. Its a motel with just seven rooms. The arrival and departure is rather unique and i never saw anyone from the motel ownership during any of my stay. The room was very good, clean and pleasant with a good bed and bathroom to boot. The wifi actually worked... More

We had a night stop on our way to Sennen, the room, service and breakfast were excellent. We had a lovely meal in the pub next door. We will certainly say again if travelling to the south west. As we have two little dogs, the motel style made it very easy for us, plus we went for a nice walk straight... More

If you are looking for a no frills, reasonably priced overnight stop on your way south, then perhaps the Park n Lodge is just the place for you. All very informal and laid back, but does what it says on the "tin". ie, Park "n" Lodge. We phoned our reservation through and gave our credit card details to reserve the... More

Just needed a stop over enroute South West. You let yourself in and out, breakfast already in the room. You were given almond croissant, pain au chocolat, cereals, fresh fruit, yoghurt, fresh milk. It was a simple room but you had everything you needed for what we wanted and they take dogs too. The owners ring you beforehand with information... More

We stayed here for just one night as a break to the journey to Cornwall. It was ideal as it was situated literally five minutes off of the M5 at Exeter. We arrived late due to the floods and storms but were phoned in advance to inform us of our room no and arrangements for collecting the key etc. The... More

Stayed for 4 nights while down for a family wedding and get-together. Excellent value for money. Comfortable room and very clean. Did not get to meet the owners but all communication done by phone/e-mail with no problems. We did meet various cleaning staff who were all very friendly and informative. Would have no hesitation in recommending this place or indeed... More

Stayed here for one night on the way to Cornwall - what a little gem. There was no one to greeet us when we arrived but you only have to look at the notice in the office window which gives several telephone no's to ring. I rang the first no. and spoke to the proprietor who told me which room... More
