We stayed her one night on the way up to the UP, and then also on the way back. Good price, simple but clean. Nice restaurant nearby. Owner was very helpful, suggested what to see in the UP. Would recommend highly.

Management seems to not like visitors with teenagers and wanted them to play down the street in a field. Rooms plain. No pool, no hot chocolate or coffee and definitely no breakfast. They seemed to like to play big brother with prying eyes.
