I reserved a room at the last minute, and I was aware that their were two rooms with water views still available than the lower priced room I chose. When I saw my room with a view of the air conditioning unit. I asked to upgrade . They said they were full. Later, I heard the manager saying they had... More

I stayed here last week for business, and the Perry is quite charming. Overall the service was very friendly, the room was quaint and had all the basic amenities, and the bed (custom mattresses in all rooms) was extremely comfortable. This is an older building, and the common rooms are warm and welcoming, including a salon with a fireplace close... More

We spent a weekend in Petoskey and wanted to stay downtown close to shopping and eating. We chose this location due to its location and was happy with our stay. The Hotel was built around 1900 and has updates but is not too modernized and still has the charm of a hotel with character. The restaurant on premise is was... More

We visited Petoskey in August 2011 and stayed just one night at the Perry. The staff were very friendly and the rooms were large with extremely comfortable beds. We weren't there king but would definitely return.

I loved the history behind the hotel, but the hotel itself was not as impressive as I thought. Our intial room was VERY small. We had a room with 2 queen bed and I had to unfold my pack and play for my daughter... it didn't fit in the room. So, we had to switch to a different room with... More

The hotel is in a great spot, but we were eating at the bar of one of their restaurants and the bar staff was arguing over something. They were loud and rude to each other and a little snappy with us.

The accommodation was very comfortable, the dinner was delicious and the staff was friendly and accommodating. We were in Petoskey for Cross country skiing at Wildwood and were not disappointed but hope that next year the Xskiing will be better. We'll be back if they continue to cater to our group.

The Perry is a charming hotel in a great location in beautiful Petoskey. The rooms are comfortable, clean, and they have the softest sheets ever! It's an old, historic hotel, so know that it's different from a modern hotel- set your expectations accordingly. They take great care of you. If your drain is stopped up, they're there in a flash.... We just returned home after our annual family ski trip to Boyne Mountain. Staying at the Perry Hotel was a treat. We love the quaint 1899 historic hotel and the beautiful downtown of Petoskey at Christmas time. The hotel is located on the banks of Traverse Bay with beautiful views. Our family decided that we would like to go back... More

Being alone over Thanksgiving, we reserved the Thanksgiving Special at the Perry Hotel. This included a two night hotel room (we upgraded to bay view), Thanksgiving dinner for two, breakfast vouchers for two and $40.00 in shopping vouchers. The room was tastefully appointed with a comfortable king size bed (small quirk – could not watch Lions football from the sofa)... More
