The Manoir is set in 14 hectares of of their own vines and surrounded by lovely gardens and the rolling countryside. We stayed at Logis du Fresne for one night on our way to La rochelle. It is a beautiful old chateau with wonderful gardens. “Five star accomodation at a three star price.”

If you want five star service and the price that goes with it then steer clear of of the Logis. The hotel is a working Cognac chateau run by Christophe and Tone.
