We loved our stay at the Quartz Mountain Inn. Our room was spotless and very comfortable, with the feel of a friend or family member's guest bedroom. The bed was very comfortable and I slept well. The room had free wireless internet access. Our dogs were welcomed (their website states that they will accept up to two dogs under 60lbs,... More

I stayed at the Quartz Mountain Inn in February 2011 and could not have asked for nicer people than Jack and Nola. Travelling alone with my two dogs, they made me feel a part of the family. I had stayed two nights, had to go to Green Bay for one night then went back and Nola even had fruit, sandwiches,... More

I usually stay at big chain hotels when I travel. I probably wouldn't have chosen this hotel by looking at the website but it was the closest to the site I was scheduled to train. I was SO pleasantly surprised when I arrived and was greeted by Jack and Nola, the proprieters and the friendliest, warmest couple I've ever encountered... More

We stayed in Oct. 2010 and this was our second trip back there. The rooms are spotless, fridge and microwave included too. We really liked the new Samsung flat panel TV's they have installed in the rooms now! The beds are on the smaller size, but are comfy..... and I guess my only complaint would be the pillows.......had a hard... More

When I called to inquire about accommodations for my husband & me who were traveling with sister & brother-in-law, Nola (owner) immediately offered their duplex apartment so we could all stay together. It was fully stocked with usual hotel amenities (including coffee & condiments), very clean, and very comfortable. When we returned in the evenings, we were able to relax... More

Stayed at the Quartz Mountain Inn while visiting the Marquette area. The service was excellent and the breakfast was wonderful. Location is convenient, but near busy road. The rooms are very basic and unfortunately don't provide much for noise insulation from your neighbors which in our case were loud. If you like the mom and pop style in give it... More

We recently had the pleasure of enjoying a little Yooper hospitality staying with Jack and Nola at the Quartz Mountain Inn. It was very clean and had plenty of room for all four of us; parents and two small children. We loved the full sized fridge and the ability to cook in the room using the full kitchen. Nola and... I have stayed at this family owned and run inn several times. The owners are Jack and Nola and they truly will do anything they can to make sure your stay is enjoyable. During my stays this includes teaching me of the local geography and geology (Jack is a geologist), providing local information and being wonderfully enjoyable breakfast company. The... More
