The hotel is a building from the 19th century. It´s not very modernized and that has its charm. That´s why it´s a basic hotel. Do not expect any luxury.
The hotel is very clean, staff is friendly and helpful. The owner speaks a lot of languages. The breakfast is okay for 6 Euros, but you can also have it elsewhere...

We were had a surley greeting on arrival. The rooms and corridors all seem to have 20 watt light bulbs and are 'dingey'. The outdoor area hasn't been cleaned in years. The room we had smelt of drains and when we complained we were told it didn't smell. A day later we were told it was because the new street...

Arriving at hotel it looked okay. Happy Hans the owner appeared a bit distracted. He didn't seem interested. Breakfast on the first morning of our 2 night stay, the teapot arrived minus a lid but with a saucer over it and the grapes were certainly not as fresh as they could be.
