A beautiful 11th c. building remodeled in the 19th c. Reserve well in advance for a room with modern, private bath. The garden is quiet and old - a real treat! Meals are served on a lovely, wisteria shaded terrace, weather permitting, or indoors with garden view. Half pension meals are adaquate but rather unimaginary. (A chicken and mashed potato... More

I have visited the Auberge du Cedre a few times over the past twelve years, at different times of the year. (It is closed in the winter, but I have seen April, August, November.) The site is lovely, surrounded by vineyards, rising up to a sharp limestone cliff. A narrow road (pass with care, very little through traffic) leads to... More

we stayed at the auberge for three nights at the begining of nov.The hotel has a beautiful setting in the french countryside.we got a very good deal price wise for a fine hotel. we stayed on a half board basis.everything about this hotel was fine except the food which was a disaster. perhaps it was the end of the season... The Auberge du Cedre is set amongst the beautiful vines of the Pic St Loup region. It is an old and beautifully restored building, in a very peaceful and idyllic setting. The owners are very friendly and welcoming and will do all they can to ensure you have a lovely stay. For us it has become a home from home... More

A lovely old manor with stone-flagged corridors and spacious yet cosy public rooms. At Easter time the terrace is covered in wistaria and the view from the restaurant is lovely. There are very pretty walks in the surrounding countryside and the roads are so splendidly quiet (in April, anyway) that they are like walking on well-surfaced footpaths! Lovely views of... More

Lovely location, typical French. Food was wonderful, I have never stayed at an hotel where they clean the rooms every three days - OK once you get used to the idea. Bedrooms not en suite, but you can get used to the idea, not sure how this would work when busier in the summer.

Wunderschönes altes Weingut an idyllischer Lage. More

Our family spent 4 nights during October 2010 at the Auberge du Cedre and loved it. The beds are comfortable and the family room had a great en suite shower and toilet. All was clean and comfortable. The grounds were beautiful, as is the area. The food on half-board was 3 courses - very well prepared and succulent. (We could... More

I stayed at L'auberge du cedre for a week with my children. I have very mixed feeling about the Auberge. On the plus side, the location is great for nature lovers and there's plenty to do around if you have a car (walks, wine tasting, archeological sites, go apes parks, canoeing, nice little towns like Uzes or Nimes, etc.). The... More

spent a couple of nights at the auberge du cedre last year and loved it. Whilst the rooms are fairly basic, they are clean and comfortable and excellent value. The grounds were lovely with a great pool which my 3 year old enjoyed a lot. Opposite is a great vineyard as well as the excellent Clos Marie nearby. the food... More
