There was someting faintly clinical about this place. Lack of a lift and no offer to help has been noticed by others on this site. There's not too much choice in the way of accomodation in the charming little town of Florac. One hotel was literally stuck in the middle of e huge construction site when we visited, so Hôtel des Gorges du Tarn was the place to go.
