Beautiful oasis in the middle of the city. Gorgeous gardens, large clean rooms, decent bathrooms, staff offer polite service, very safe. Just watch out for the 'voluntary' tip that's added onto the final bill - not too sure it really reaches the staff.

I doubt El Convento was quite as swanky when it housed nuns: today it has been lovingly restored and still retains some Catholic touches.
