Hotel Arkanchi is just a few steps away from the old, totally restored, centre of the city of Khiva. The rooms are spacious, clean and I agree, the beds are not that stable, but they they are adequate enough. I had dinner in the hotel one night and it was very tastefull, for about $ 7,50,--.

The hotel is in a fantastic location, within the old city walls. Service was good. Rooms were fairly basic but clean. The only problem was the terrible beds - soft, saggy and with springs digging into our backs.

The location is great: it's inside the old city wall and a minute walk to Kalta minaret. We paid 40 $ per night per room (two persons, including breakfast). This hotel has unique in terms of its location and price conditions. It's place is relatively close to the heart of Khiva, Ichan Kala. The rooms are clean and furniture is new. The staff were all very attentive .The decor and rooms were amazing. We had a great time in this warm and cute hotel.
