A pleasant small 3 star hotel centrally situated with good views from some of the bedrooms over a square. The bedroom was large with a reasonably good ensuite bathroom with excellent thick cotton towels. The public parts were a little spartan with a selection of ethnic goods for sale. Breakfast was a good selection of bread and pastries, yoghurt and... More

We stayed for 2 days in Khiva, arrived with no reservation and having checked several b&b's and a couple of hotels in old town - Malika Khiva was the best value for money. Our double room was located on the 2nd floor, was of good size for two people, view from the window on to the western gate. The bed... More

Having just visited and stayed in Khiva it is apparent that many of the Trip Advisor reviews of the three Malika hotels in Khiva are mixed up and hence I have put this review on Malika Khiva and Malika Kheivak and hope future reviewers will then pick the correct hotel to write up on!!. A brief summary of each is:... More

First the positives: location and free WI-fi (but very slow). It has a very large lobby and many items are for sale. Breakfast included brewed coffee, pastries, fruits, vegetables, boiled eggs, and cheese. I didn't see any heated items, and I wasn't thrilled about anything they did have. My room had a bed, chair, table, TV and closet. The bathroom... More

The hotel is very cozy and conveniently located in the gates of the city, which is very convenient for sight-seeing during the day. The staff was very friendly and helpful, and spoke perfect English. The food was good, with a variety of cheese, traditional bread as well as Western bread, variety of fresh fruit and choices between traditional tea, fruit... More

The hotel is conveniently located just outside the western gate. The rooms are arranged around a large indoor court. Our room was clean, but rather small, equipped with twin beds (a bit too soft) and a tv set. Breakfast was good with a variety of foods: fruits (melon, water melon, grapes, apples), cheese, sausages, fried eggs, bread (not fresh), several... More

Located just outside the gates of the citadel, it is very convenient. The staff was super... Friendly, helpful, fluent in several languages. The rooms were modest, but clean and comfortable. After all, that is all you need - you don't go to a place like Khiva to spend all your time in a hotel! A stopping off place for large... More

After having spent two nights each in beautiful b&bs in Samarkand and Bukhara (Antica and K Komil), we were disappointed. Rooms are bland and have nothing special. Almost all seem to have three single beds. The place has a bit the youth hostel flair. The owners were polite, but a bit distant and did not seem too interested. Breakfast was... More

The Hotel is just in front of the main Ata Darvaza gates of the Ichan Qala. From the rooms there is a wonderful view. The room are basic but clean. The breakfast is good and the staff at the reception are very friendly. It’s a very good place for visiting Khiva because the old town is just 5minutes walking.

It's a good hotel, with decent rooms. The facilities were in good condition, except for the wifi signal, which was very weak and slow, but I managed to check my email. The location is good, but the staff is not as good as its location. The architecture is of lovely central style which I found very impressive. It is OK... More
