Stayed at this lodge for two nights as part of our honeymoon -sheer luxury. The individual lodges are beautiful, with great showers, comfortable queen bed and really nicely decorated. Food was delicious, despite being a set menu. Staff were attentive and very friendly. We got a breakfast pack one morning and did a game drive into Etosha through the lodge... More

We were booked by our travel agent in a lodge near the south gate of the Etosha Park but it proved to be not at all what we expected, so after one night we decided to look elsewhere. From the Brandt guidebook, we found the Mushara Lodge not far from the eastern entrance to the park. An oasis of calm... More

On arrival all our group of 12 were absolutely 'blown away'. I could actually feel their souls soaking in the ambience. All the staff are helpful and friendly. The lounge with its open fireplace is welcoming. Dining is a real pleasure. Rooms are spacious and very well appointed, handy to everything. This is a great place to base yourself to... More

If you're planning to visit Etosha Park-look no further. This Lodge is an excellent choice if you wish to stay near the Eastern side of the park. The park is only a short drive away. We just returned from 3 weeks in Africa and spend a couple of nights at the Mushara Lodge. The chalets are so beautiful it feels... More

This is an absolute gem amongst the lodges in Namibia, the rooms are wonderfully modern and cosy, a rainshower makes your start of the day just magic, staff is very friendly and the food is great. A family of wrathogs roaming the grounds are an extra bonus. More

Still would rate Mushara as a 4 as was a lovely venue although was very expensive and felt slightly corporate. I personally prefer smaller, family-run places but if big is your thing then Mushara is a good bet. Rooms lovely and, despite no view, it's a quick drive to Etosha. More

We cannot speak too highly of this lodge, which was immaculate and welcoming. Nothing was too much trouble for the staff, who were very friendly and professional. The decor was very stylish and our room was extremely well appointed and comfortable. The gardens were lovely and wildlife and birds visited. The meals too were excellent. The location is perfect for... More

We spent two nights at Mushara Lodge. The place was well set out and had a very nice ambience. The rooms were very well kept and clean. We particularly liked the thatched roof. Our meals were very nice and the lodge had the best wine selection out of all the places we had stayed in Namibia. All the staff were... More

Stayed here for 3 nights whilst visiting Etosha national park. The lodge is ideally situated for visiting the eastern side of Etosha being only 10 mins from one of the gates. We arrived to a very warm welcome and were shown to our room. The rooms are thatched bungalows arranged in a horseshoe shape around the central area. They have... More
