Lilac Tree was a great location to stay on Mackinaw Island. The hotel rooms are really big. Pay extra to have the Main Street view and enjoy people watching from your balconey. It was a treat watching all the hustle and activity.

Had not been to Mackinaw Island for probably 40 years --- it is the best place to be for getting away - the Lilac Tree was wonderful. Traveled with my sisters and the room for the 3 of us was spectacular!

Nice 2 room suite with microwave, refrigerator and flat screen tvs in each room. Pay for an up grade to a street facing suite and you will have a balcony with view of the Main Street and water. Second trip to Mackinac Island and really liked this hotel. It is centrally located in the middle of town and close to everything.
