Always the first place I see when taking the ferry to the island. I always call it My White Lady. I have never stayed at The Grand, but I can't imagine that it is better than this... It is REALLY EXQUISITE. Well worth the price. Am probably lower middle class at this point in time, but it is really worth... More

Very clean and charming hotel located in a perfect area - right on the water! We walked everywhere around the island. It's also close to the ferry docks and is very convenient. Breakfast was provided and is a good variety of items. The hotel is quiet and perfect for a relaxing weekend getaway.

We visited with my mother in law and two teenaged daughters. The views from the rooms were spectacular and the gardens beautiful. The setting is cozy and intimate. We especially liked the multiple common areas for gathering for a nice game of cards or meeting up for an outing. The restaurant was very nice as well. We will definately return.

Stayed here 2 days & it was great. Location is perfect: at the edge of town so only steps away from shops, etc, but on it's own water front property so it's away from the mob of tourist.. Nice old hotel, well decorated rooms & friendly. The provided breakfast is simple but well served in an old drawing room. The... More

We have stayed in this hotel before and found it a terrific experience. Previously we on the top floor even though it was expensive it was a terrific view and a very nice room. Our experience was very different this time. We were on the first floor and noise in the basement woke us at 6am on a saturday and... More

We stayed for two nights in the off season, in the Lighthouse Suite. Our suite was really delightful and comfortable, two large bedrooms each with full bathroom, and a spacious living room between the bedrooms. Living room included wet bar & fridge. Each room had large dormer windows overlooking the bay. Location is right next to the Star Ferry terminal;... More

We've stayed at the Iroquois at least 7 times through the years and have never been disappointed. It's an exquisite facility, with an unsurpassed location on the water. Each room is charmingly decorated and immaculately clean. An added bonus is the Iroquois' dining room; best food on the island. The hotel is a bit pricey in mid season, but worth... More

This was the first time my husband and I stayed on Mackinac Island. We chose the Hotel Iroquois on the recommendation of a friend. We were not disappointed. Generally a quite pricey Hotel, we found a Fall special so it wasn't any more expensive then the national chains. We had a Garden Room with a private porch. The room was... More

From the time you get on the ferry to the island there is something really quite magical about Mackinac Island and the Hotel Iroquois fits right in with that theme: magical! I Have now stayed here twice now and can't get over how impeccably clean and well designed this hotel is. It's IMMACULATE! It should be noted that this is... More

There is nothing more beautiful than sitting on the patio overlooking the straits of Mackinac and enjoying a great meal at the Iroquois. The accomodations at the hotel were also spectacular, with breaktaking views in all directions! If you want a view of the water, this is the absolute best dining location on the Island!
