This was my husband's & I first time at a bed & breakfast. We were nervous & did not know what to expect. Once we arrived at The Munro House, all of our fears & apprehensions were dispelled. We had a wonderful time during our stay. We were glad that we chose this location for our first B&B experience. Both... More

I decided to stay at a B&B instead of a chain hotel. It was a great decision and I will look for other B&B's for future travels. The owners were exceptionally helpful, friendly and knowledgeable. A brief history on the house and town during check in and I was off to dinner. The owners recommend several local establishments and I... More

Single women travelling here for business or pleasure seem to feel more comfortable and secure in our house than in a typical small town hotel. We treat them like family and direct them to local businesses that we enjoy. Olivia's Chop House happens to be the best restaurant in the county and is only 2 blocks away. We try to... More

My husband and I wanted a quiet week away from work and the city. We loved everything about our stay at this beautiful bed and breakfast. The room was quaint and contained everything we needed. The hosts were wonderful and even served us popcorn while we watched a movie in the family room (a movie from their video library). Breakfast... More

Jonesville is much quieter than the big city or the resort towns. Folks who truly want to get away can do so in our great small town. Restaurants and ice cream shops are just a few blocks away and all have consistantly good food and service. All of our rooms have a TV and DVD player, but we also offer... More

My sister and I planned a family get-together at the Munro House; the six of us stayed in the three rooms at the front of the mansion. We all loved our stay! The home was lavishly decorated for Christmas. We were especially dazzled by the huge Christmas tree with its clusters of gold ornaments and lights strung over the exterior... More

Chistmas is a fun time to come to Jonesville. Our "Soap Opera Tree" is the centerpiece of our extreme decorating. Girlfriends who getaway to our house have space to enjoy each others' company. These ladies did, and we were happy to be able to facilitate their get-together. Thank you for choosing the Munro House. More

We had a wonderful time during our murder mystery weekend. We enjoyed the tour of the house and history. We had a diet friendly breakfast with plenty of fresh fruit. We enjoyed meeting all the people that took part in the murder mystery with us. We had a wonderful dinner with plenty to eat and nice desert. They had plenty... More

Healthy options are always an available choice along with complimentary snacks and beverages. We try to host Murder Mystery Dinners on a quarterly basis and try to choose fun games for our guests to play and enjoy. Positive reviews tell us that we take our job seriously. Thank you for your kind words. More

The Munro House is a beautiful home and we were lucky enough to be there to see it decorated for the holidays. The 20 foot Christmas tree decorated in gold ornaments is enough to take your breath away. The breakfast were superb - and make to order based on the selections of the day. I had the most wonderful "Almond... More

Thank you for enjoying our hospitality. Our house is pretty spectacular at Christmas time, but our tree is "only" 12 feet tall. We think that the best part about bed and breakfast is the breakfast--and it has nothing to do with the food! We try to facilitate conversation between all of our guests and try to serve a breakfast that... More

Mike and Lori should be commended on their recognition of Veterans. They provide a room for a night and a delicious breakfast in the morning. These hosts bring a sense of pride to the vet and spouse by showing their appreciation for the sacrifices that have been made. The Munro House is one of the most beautiful B&B's my wife... More

It was our pleasure to host you during the "B&Bs for Vets" promotion. Veterans do not always receive enough thanks for their service, so we are proud to acknowledge their sacrifices and thank them in our own way. More

We were one of the lucky ones who got to stay at the Munro House when Mike opened his home to Veterans this year. Neither one of us had ever stayed in a B & B before so we didn't really know what to expect. However, as soon as we walked in, Mike came to greet us and we knew... More

Thank you for enjoying our hospitality. It was our pleasure to host you for the "B&Bs for Vets" program. We love our property, our village, and our business partners and are glad that you enjoyed them, too. Jonesville is the kind of town every village should be--quiet, progressive, and friendly. We are glad you enjoyed your time here. Ozzie enjoyed... More

Mike and Lori and their furry co-host Ozzy were excellent hosts! Very informative about the history of the home. The tour by Mike and the stories he told about the namesake were very entertaining and exciting. These two are fun, warm and very welcoming. Like they were welcoming in long time friends or family! Our local American Legion puts on a wonderful program for military holidays. Our participation in the B&Bs for Vets program allowed some out-of-towners to enjoy this gathering of over 700 people in our village of 2,400. We try to treat everyone who walks through our door as 'family' and we enjoy telling the history of this great old house and... More
