Checking into the hotel friday night the desk attendent was very friendly, not minding that we were . gave us several good locations to eat, eating at three of the five recommended. And also helped keep attention of the kids as we were checking out places, and making family plans. She was always up beat and enjoyable to talk to....

I was a guest at this facility for an extended period of time - an 11 night stay to be specific. I'm surprised to read all the comments about how wonderful and friendly the staff were. I review the hotel back in 2008, but I have stayed here 5-6 times since that review. I must say that this hotel is the best in Iron Mountain.
Great beds, always friendly staff, indoor pool, fast internet connections, breakfast was above average, they even have 20oz sodas for 1.25!
They could use a bit more equipment in the gym...

Very comfortable stay. The hotel and rooms were clean. The staff was nice. The beds were comfortable and the bathrooms came w/ full strength blow dryer.
It is located around the corner from Subway and a couple miles McDonalds.
I plan to stay here again.

My husband and I just stayed one night during our UP color tour.
Very clean, quiet AC, great continental breakfast with many choices including fruit and oatmeal, etc. Competitive pricing.
I would ask for top floor next time. Think "bigfoot" was staying above us.

This really is a wonderful, clean hotel with a very friendly staff. Not every Country Inn & Suites is the same, one is older and another is newer but this one looked like it just opened. Breakfast was nice too with scambled eggs, bacon, waffles, fruit etc. Walmart and restaurant across the street.
