My experience was extremely 'easy' the entire time. To begin, I arrived early and had just participated in an event that required a shower............ when Janine checked on my room to see if I could get in early she made my day by allowing that to happen!

Hotel rooms are very large with comfortable beds. Breakfast buffet is very good. Nice quiet area in back for walking. Next to the hotel is the Mineshaft Grill,bar, arcade for kids. Prices are good ( call hotel direct for a better deal).

We nearly always choose Country Inns & Suites if there's one where we travel. There are no unpleasant surprises since they are all about the same. The breakfast buffet is very good and offers a nice selection. The staff is friendly and helpful, and the furnishings are comfortable. This one is in a good location to explore the Keweenaw peninsula....
