Nice enough place. Great little adorable town. Great shopping. Eat at Front Street Gourmet for take out- excellent sandwhiches. Drive to the lighthouse. I hear the beach is close and is great. I love the galleries here. Wish there were tissues in the room and a fan in the bathroom. Tip and waters that are in the room you already... More

My now-husband and I stayed here the night before our wedding and on our wedding night. We were told we had the "best room in the hotel" but it was very dated and the bathroom was tiny. We didn't really mind this until the morning of our wedding when we both had to take COLD showers with incredibly weak water... More

We are sorry for any inconvenience you may have experienced. I am glad our maintenance technician, who was sent to your room immediately, was able to fix the situation. When your mother booked your room it was because it had a beautiful view, two windows and was a corner room, although a bit smaller, it offered more privacy for your... More

We had a great stay here with two kids, two and under. The suite was nice and big we even brought the baby walker and a tricycle. the kids loved it! There's a fridge and microwave in the room too. The linens were super soft and the pillows were great, they give you varying densities to choose what you like.... More

Friendly staff, great location, dated yet clean room with thin walls, pretty good continental breakfast. But otherwise a thumbs down... The big issue is that we were told when we reserved a room that there would be entertainment and a NYE party in the hotel bar. Upon check in we were told, only after mentioning the bar, that it was... More

I apologize for any misunderstanding, however our bar was never scheduled to be open on Monday, New Year's Eve. Our winter bar hours are Thursday-Saturday. Our pool was always open and the desk clerk was simply saying that we are installing new tile in the vending machine area and she wanted you to be aware of that but it did... More

I stayed at the Inn on December 15, 2012 as part of a large group. We were there for my sister's wedding and the inn was very accommodating to us. We had to change a few rooms due to the number of beds and the fact that I had booked the only suite and they took care of everything quickly... More

We've stayed at the Inn a few times, and probably will again. This is a decent inn with a focus on simple, but good–this is not the place to go if you're looking for over the top luxury. The rooms are fairly basic (with good bedding), and the breakfast, while simple, has a good variety of nice teas, fruit, yogurt,... More

Considering the hundreds of dollars per night we were charged to stay at this place, we we're astounded at how shabbily it was built. Although the Inn looks OK from the outside, once in our room we got the feeling it was built on-the-cheap with mostly plywood. The most annoying problem is that the walls are so thin that we... More

It makes me sad to get a review like this when we could have addressed the issue during your stay, had we been made aware of it. Our beautiful Inn, due to its location in Scituate Harbor lends itself to weddings, reunions, and family parties and we understand there is excitement around these events so we maintain quiet hours after... I just needed a bed for three nights. The charm was an unexpected bonus, as were the many amenities! I enjoyed the quiet bar on Thursday evening, and I'm glad I did because it was standing-room-only and raucous on Fri & Sat. The hotel staff were friendly and accommodating. The breakfast was a sugar-lover's dream.

Ok this was a step up from the last motel we stayed in but it had more disadvantages than the other. More luxarious accomadations. THe beds were so comfortable. We did not visit Scituate much. But I tell you the ladies in the office steered us in the right direction when we told them we wanted to go to Boston.... More

We chose Inn at Scituate harbour to end our visit to New England in the Fall because of the ease of getting in to Boston . We were thrilled. What a great place in idyllic surroundings.
