This site was packed when we were there. The facilities are very nice and clean. The only issue we had was they closed the tent area so we were stuck camping in between a bunch of RV's but other than that the price is perfect and the grounds are nice

We having been going there for over 10 years. Great place for kids. Wish they had separate area for people with pets. We branch out and visit Upper Falls or go into Maine. Love the Portsmith pool. Lots to do within several miles.

Just spent the weekend at Salisbury Beach. We had a blast. Check in was fast. Park was clean. Restroom/showers do need to be updated. Beach area was excellent. Kids had a blast swimming, fishing and catching crabs. Great park for bike riding. If you want a beach weekend I would recommend staying.

Our family of 4 camped here last summer. Everything seemed ok at first. But.....Noisy at night by people partying all night. Made a complaint and got no response back. We had 2 children with us ages 10 and 6. Very rude campers next to us. We slept in tents so you could hear everything. Bath houses were pretty gross. Make... More

We have been camping here for 12 years. We take several camping trips every summer and this is the only campground we go back to every year. The lots are sandy and soft for tent sleeping. There isn't a lot of shade so bring your own - we learned that the 1st year there :) but otherwise it is a... More

Out of all the campgrounds we visit this is the one we come back to year after year consistantly and has become our hands down favorite. This is my "happy place" so much so that I have a seasons pass to the park for day trips when we aren't camping. We camp here for a long weekend with a large... More

We stayed at Salisbury Beach State campground last year after we got our dog and the CT state park we were supposed to go to does not take dogs. We were lucky enough to get a site at the last minhte-the place sells out quickly and although there is supposed to be a two week stay limit, people find a... More

Great oceanside campground with water and electricity hookups and a more than adequate dump station. Nice beach on the ocean, excellent boat launch area into the Merrimac river on one side of the campground. In need of some improved daily maintenance and upkeep, but, overall a great place to stay.

We loved this campground as it is right on the beach... There is no more than a 3 minute walk to get on the beach, and this is only because you have to cross the road, and the Parking Lot. The Restrooms are kept clean, there are restrooms right by the beach. The beach is simply stunning. My only complaint... More
