I just want to say what a wonderful stay we had at the Richmond Inn on October 19, 2012. Although we only were able to stay one night we couldn't have felt more at home. The rooms and furnishings were beautiful. Pam our host went out of her way to help us. We had an early flight the morning of... More

The Inn is in a beautiful rural area and is very clean, well maintained and comfortable. The friendly manager, Pam went out of her way to be accommodating and helpful. We can't say enough good things about her. The breakfasts were excellent, - lots of fresh fruit and a good variety of main dishes all nicely presented. We loved our... More

We routinely stay at B&Bs and have been to this Inn several times in the past. The positives include a friendly innkeeper and beutiful grounds. The negatives include mediocre food, cat smell, and an overall feeling of neglect for the property. We stayed in the largest room in the inn and have enjoyed it previously as well as a stay... More

The Inn at Richmond is a historic home on about 25- 30 acres. Most of it a horse farm. Pam greets people as they come in and she was very nice and helpful. The rooms are spacious and well kept and very clean. Just walking around the place was great as there are many places to just sit and chill.... More

We chose the inn based on the positive reviews at tripadvisor and the fact that it was one of the few in the area which takes children under 12. For reference, we paid over $300/night - comparable to a good hotel in the Boston area. First, the good. The property looks like the quintessential New England farm. The grounds are... More

The staff at The Inn at Richmond always welcome feedback from our guests and appreciate the positive things that were mentioned ... although, I believe the customers who board horses at the adjoining equestrian center might take exception to their horses being referred to as "flea-bitten". Considering the amount of time I (Inn Manager) spent visiting with the guests during... More

On a friend's recommendation we spent a couple of nights at this lovely inn. We found our room to be clean and comfortable. Although the entire suite was certainly well maintained, I felt the bathroom must have been nearly brand new. Nice! No complaints there. Both breakfasts that we had were excellent. Unlike many places where breakfast is included, this... More

Pros: Property is gorgeous - adjacent equestrian area just adds to the beautiful Inn space. White buildings and green, lush landscape. Beautiful horses, quiet setting. Morning walks and views are wonderful. You will be relaxed. Historic main building dates from 18th century. Preserved, restored, polished and furnished with great care. Main house guest suites are sizable, private, charming in a... More

The property is in beautiful condition, charmingly decorated and well heated in winter. The innkeeper is a warm, engaging woman, delightful to talk to and helpful in every way. The location is perfect for access to all Berkshire activities. The breakfast was fine. My one disappointment was with the bed, which was not as firm as I like. For most... More

We enjoyed a very comfortable weekend here.Inn was very spacious, our room was very well appointed, and the breakfasts were very good. Pam was also vey helpful. There is an abundance of activities, even in late fall, when we visited: Mass MOCA, a nearby winery, shops in Stockbridge and West Stockbridge, and lots more.Highlight for us was a riding lesson at... I can't say enough about our experience last week. We were hit by a horrible fall storm in CT - and needed a warm and inviting place that was dog friendly so that we could stay warm and get reconnected to the world (day 10 without electricity, water and heat today...). I needed to work and needed internet and a... More
