We stayed one Saturday night at the end of September.Provincetown was fairly quiet, but an interesting place. Our room was on the top floor,it was large and clean, with two beds, although not very modern, it had everything we needed and great views. Also it was a peaceful area with no other properties too close. There was an interesting shower screen which made... More

My third stay. Clean large rooms. Quiet location. Great views. Short walk into town. Large in room fridge. Helpful staff. Great pool. Lots of tv channels.

August 2011 was the 5th year my partner and I took our kids to Chateau Provincetown. We will come back every summer until our kids get tired of it. PTown in the summer can be ridiculously expensive for a family of 4, and we found this gem back in 2007 when we first started taking our kids to the Cape.... More

My husband and I stayed in this hotel mid September for 3 nights. It was a good value, especially compared with other hotels and Inns. The hotel could use an update when it comes to the rooms, but other than that it was very clean and we didn't spend that much time sitting in our room, so it didn't really... More

The outside of hotel gardens & pool area are beautiful. The rooms are very clean however they have a musty smell. The rooms can use an update, the decor is very old. Over all I would recommend this hotel

We chose this hotel primarily because of location, i.e. outside the center of town and with ready access to the Province Lands bikepath. The walk into town was pretty direct although in the dark it was sometimes hard to identify streets. The view from the hotel is superb. The rooms are a bit dated but they are clean and neat... More

The Chateau is about half a mile outside the town centre so provides a little oasis of calm within walking ditance of the attractions. It is located on a steep hill with magnificent views and has beautifully kept gardens and swimming pool. It is owned and managed by a family and all the staff are friendly and helpful. The rooms... This hotel is nice on the outside and awful inside. I picked this hotel aka motel because of the location and that's all I got. OVERLY PRICED FOR WHAT YOU GET!! (-): The rooms make you feel like you are back in the 1960's. Nothing has changed, not the furniture, vanities, bed coverings, chairs, etc. When you first walk in,... More

I'm sorry that your experience did not meet the majority of posts on our site. We admit we need to upgrade some of our inside facility, but in this economy it is very difficult to get funds to do that. We try to make up for that with immaculate rooms that our staff takes great pride in providing. If you... More

we (straight seniors from Vienna/Austria) have spent one week in charming Provincetown and this great hotel of old charm but in perfect shape. Ample space in entire hotel area (room, parking, pool etc.). Very friendly and helpful management/staff. Easy access by car to excellent and not overcrowded sandy beaches. Brief walk to town center.

We are a middle aged couple (late 50's) who are looking for peace and quiet and a good time. This place has it all: a short walk to great restaurants and downtown (about 8 minutes), a quick drive to Herring Cove Beach (about 3 minutes), clean simple rooms with all the basics (how much time are you spending in your...
