We stayed at the Crown for New Year's weekend. We loved the room. It was large and comfortable with a fireplace, a jacuzzi, and a terrace overlooking the the beach. The only problem we had with the room was that there was not enough light in the bathroom and there was no heat in the bathroom. Granted, most of the... More

Great hotel with location and staff. Being physically challenge I thought it was going to be a hassle. The staff proved me wrong. They went out of their way to make sure I was comfortable and my needs were met. The maintenance man did above and beyond to make sure I was at ease in the room and bath area.... More

The experience was a mixed bag at the Crown and Anchor. The restaurant manager, Peter, was very nice and hospitable. He seemed to have an extensive knowledge of wines. However, our waitress, Rachel, was one of the rudiest people I have ever met. When asking her about several menu items, she told me to "Hurry up, I dont have all... More

The Crown and Anchor is a lovely hotel located in the heart of Provincetown - within walking distance of everything. We stayed on the second floor in room #201 which has a HUGE balcony over looking the charming bustle of Commercial Street. Great for people watching. Very spacious and clean. Beautiful fireplace and sitting area. I would love to stay... More

My husband and I decided on a short getaway to the Cape. We have been to Provincetown many times and liked it but had never stayed at the Crown & Anchor before. One night we went to the Goddesses of Illusion show in the cabaret room, which was a lot of fun and I would definitely recommend that. Our room... More

Stopped to have lunch at the Crown and Anchor Inn it looked like a nice decent place to eat. Ordered the fried fish with chowder. Did not mind paying the price as it was on the high side, $25.00 but unfortunately the meal was terrible! Even got stomach sick later that day and threw up that made for an awful... More

We stayed at the Crown & Anchor and had a nice time. The rooms were more spacious than I expected but the rooms are in need of a make-over and if you like plush towels and nice toiletries then you will be disapointed, because these resembled what I have at my gym. The noise from the 3 bars and restaurant... More

My boyfriend and I stayed here last Summer and had a great time. The staff was friendly, and room was comfortable. The location is hard to beat. Only downfall was that we paid more to have a room with fireplace and jacuzzi tub - and the jacuzzi tub was brown around the jets and dirty. That was unfortunate, but otherwise... More

We just stayed here for the first time in February and was pleasantly surprised. We had a jacuzzi room facing the water with a balcony, fireplace and kitchenette. The room was a good size, although kind of wish there was a small sofa or something to sit on since with the cold, hanging out in the room is a must,... More

The Crown and Anchor offers guests a superb central location for the first time visitor or those wishing to be in the eye of the party hurricane. The deluxe rooms w/ king bed are generous in size and feature large balconies overlooking the pool and bay at the rear. The kitchenette w/ microwave, bar fridge and sink is adequate and... More
