After a sad family period, I just needed a few days chill time and my two days at the Fairbanks Inn exactly hit the spot. After my transatlantic flight I had a delightful hop over the waves into Provincetown airport and was relaxed in my beautiful suite before I knew it. Kathy and Alicia guided me to the Lobster Pot... We just got married in Provincetown and credit our stay at the Fairbanks Inn with making our wedding and honeymoon the experience of our dreams. Kathy and Alicia graciously accommodated our family and friends who traveled to Provincetown for the occasion making us all feel welcome and comfortable. They very helpfully guided us to places of interest and made recommendations... More

We returned for a second visit, this time out of season. The Fairbanks is located a short walk from Commercial street and all the restaurants and action, although the March action is minimal. Kathleen is a pleasant and welcoming innkeeper. We had booked a room online but she moved us to another room that she said had a larger bathroom.... More

It is always wonderful to welcome back returning guests. We are gratified that these guests enjoyed their visit during our quieter Winter season. But we do have one small clarification: we bake our own muffins in the morning. They were fresh out of our oven and not from a bakery. More

So happy to return to my favorite place to stay in Provincetown. The Fairbanks Inn has everything I look for -- a comfortable, clean room, a super convenient location and great value. This b&b is located in the center of town, a short walk away from the center of Commercial Street. I parked my car in their lot and never... More

From our warm welcome to our warm room, this was the most satisfying, romantic stay at a B & B we've ever experienced. Located within walking distance of all things P-town, we couldn't have picked a better place for a winter getaway. We stayed in the first floor of the Carriage House. Comfortable, cozy king sized bed. Gas fireplace, kitchen,... More

Gay men beware this lesbian owned property run by 2 quirky innkeepers is not worth your time or money. They run the place like a boarding school with so many rules and regulations you are better off staying home. They serve the same continental breakfast everyday consisting of overcooked hard boiled eggs store bought muffins and "homemade" granola and yogurt. The... More

We question whether this reviewer actually stayed with us. Guests can smell the aroma of our fresh baked muffins from the kitchen every morning. And yes, our granola is homemade. We value diversity. We welcome all: gay, lesbian, straight, bi, trans. In fact, many of our favorite, returning guests are gay men. Comfort, cleanliness, hospitality are our top priorities. We... More

We all want to take a vacation or have some time away. And it's unfortunate that most of us have to give up staying at a nice place because the prices are so jacked up during certain seasons that you have to end up staying in some second rate, outdated and unappealing place. WELL NOT ANY MORE! Kathleen and Alicia... More

This is just a block off the main street with parking. It is an easy walk to all town restaurants and bars. Kathleen, helped us pick out great local restaurants in the area. The place was very clean and had a good breakfast. I would highly recommend it.

With wonderful hosts: Alisha and Kathy; this is a beautifully preserved historical building. The breakfast was very complete. The location was ideal. Close to Commercial ST. and away from the noise; close to biking trails and beaches. Beautiful garden in the back.

Just come back from the best holiday ever in Provincetown. what an amazing place to be and what a fantastic b & b we stayed in. The Faribanks Inn is in the centre of everything, just a very short walk to all the restaurants, shops and bars. The Inn itself was fantastic, rustic, charming and just gorgeous. Our hosts Kathy...
