This was our second trip to Bass Rocks Ocean Inn and we're already planning our third. If you are looking for a calm and peaceful retreat you won't find a better place. Right across a small road from the ocean, the sounds of the waves crashing on the rocks will both lull you to sleep and gently wake you up.... More

Is it expensive, yes it is, but is it value for money, yes it is. I thought when booking this hotel it seemed a little expensive as we are still a little out of season, but having got there and seen a, the room and b, the view. Wow. It is right on the shore and room we had was... More

A beautiful and relaxing Inn! Just across the street from the magnificent ocean, you can hear the water breaking on the rocks from your room! We had a view of the Twin Lighthouses from our room, too. Just find a bench and enjoy the view! This place is quiet and out of the way. Very relaxing and a good place... More

We stayed for two nights in Suite 503 of the Stacy House and were very impressed with the high quality of our room and also the public rooms of the Inn. The appointments in the room are wonderful...heavy doors, lovely bathroom, very comfortable bed. The view from our room was wonderful. I would highly recommend for couples for a special... More

This place has the most relaxing atmosphere inside and out! The rooms are very clean and provide many things. The pool is very big and very fun! (And clean!) Then there is the building that the front desk is at. There, you can check out movies or even check out a game to play on the lawn such as bocce.... More

We stayed here for 3 days. The view from the room is spectacular of the ocean and the sunrise. The rooms are clean and comfortable with a little patio outside with 2 wicker chairs and a small wicker table. Hot apple cider and fresh baked cookies are served later in the afternoon. The continental breakfast hits the spot and the... More

We decided on a mini vacation for 24 hours in Gloucester area. Bass rocks ocean inn did not disappoint. Each room looks out onto the ocean across the street with sliding glass door and a little seating area outside the room. The continental breakfast is nicely laid out and quite complete. All in all a wonderful stay...

We stayed for two nights on an October weekend and were very pleased with our stay. Beautiful weather, ocean, town and motel. The room (Room 215) was very clean and spacious except for the bathroom which was small but that didn't bother us. The staff were very pleasent. The road in front of the hotel was not very busy and... More
