I've been to this campsite many times and really enjoy it. The owners are really nice and very helpful about things to do and see around Cape Ann. The showers and toilets are always very clean though a bit dated. The sites are small but if you're only looking for a place to cook and sleep, it's fine. The location...

We are located 30 miles northeast of Boston in Gloucester a historic fishing port and whale watching capital of the world. We are set in 80 acres of mature woodland overlooking the Annisquam River, one mile from Wingaersheek Beach. Carved from nature amd situated on a hill side, the campground offers sites which range in size from intimate tenting to spacious RV sites with electric, water and sewer. Rock fireplaces are available at most sites. All sites have picnic tables. There is centrally located WiFi, with a small convience store having ice, wood and limited groceries. There are three large toilet and shower houses. Gloucester is 4miles. Rockport is 8 miles. Salem is 13 miles and Boston is ihour by car or train.
