Lets start by saying this is a 300 year old house. It is also located on Main Street in Essex so yes, there is some street noise which in no way diminished our stay. If you are a very light sleeper, request a room not on the street. Kathy the owner is very friendly. Did she talk our ears off?... More

My husband and I booked the whole place for our daughter's wedding. We had 5 couples and the bride. The bride's sisters were the maids of honor. Kathleen was wonderful. SO very accommodating. She even ironed my daughter's boyfriends shirts. The beds were all quite comfortable. It was clean as would be expected. What set the place apart was the... More

And the main reason we did is because of the wonderful Innkeeper, Kathleen, who made us feel very welcome. She is a gem, and we really enjoyed talking with her. She made good suggestions about where to eat and what to do, and was very helpful. We stayed in the penthouse, which is a large sleeping/sitting area with a kitchenette... More

Stayed here for 6 days and every breakfast was delicious. We were comfortable in the penthouse which was a king bedded room with a small kitchen and bath with a shower (no tub). We only used the fridge to store yogurt and beverages. Restaurants and ice cream are within walking distance down the road. The innkeeper, Kathleen, was great. We... More

We arrived in Essex as it was weekend & couldn't find accommodation in Gloucester. it is a little gem. Kathleen, far from being a busybody, was v friendly & helpful. She recommended places to see & restaurants. The room was v spacious with a little sitting area at the back. There was a fridge with beer & water!! Also an... More

I was glad that I had read the other reviews and was prepared for no keys. Actually, it felt strange not locking my room, but I had not problems. The B & B has a lot of charm and in fact the most delicious breakfasts I have had at any B & B. By the way, don't wait in the... More

We stayed at this bed and breakfast in early January 2012 which was off season. This inn is run by Kathy who has run it single handedly for 14 years. Kathy does all the finishing touches and each room feels like a home. Kathy is a loving and warm woman who just likes people. The Inn really feels like a... More

I'll be honest with you (the only way I am), I am not a fan of B & B's, and almost always stay in a hotel (preferably an upscale one at that). That said my wife and I were visiting her daughter during Family Weekend at Endicott College and we needed a place to stay and this was what my... More

I stayed at Geo. Fuller House for 3 nights. It was my first experience with staying at a bed & breakfast and I loved it. The owner, Kathleen, is a warm & welcoming lady who makes the best breakfasts I have ever had. The home made coffee cakes, french toast, eggs benedict and fresh fruit salads were so delicious. I... I grew up in the area and have stayed at several inns over the past years. Kathleen's charming home is my new favorite. It's a lovely house, beautifully appointed with stunning views and an innkeeper who goes well out of her way to make your stay pleasant. I would definitely stay there again.
