Nickerson State Park was not open yet, and the weather was so nice we wanted to camp and go on the CC Rail Trail (bike trail). We found this campground, and were very happy. The people were welcoming and helpful, and the campsites are just far enough away from each other. We had a beautiful view of the pond, where... More

My husband and I just stayed at Sweetwater for 4 days and were more than pleasantly surprised by this campground! It has the woodsy feel of nearby Nickerson State Park (where we usually stay), but has the advantages of hook ups for our new trailer. The staff were very nice and the bathrooms were immaculate. We have camped in many... More

Sweetwater Forest Campground is more than I ever expected... They offer the exact things a young family would be interested in doing on a get-a-way trip! The staff was more than helpful with all my questions about the campground itself and the surrounding attractions around the Cape! I have to say, the bathrooms were amazing...I know that's not what camping's... More

We spent the week at this Campground and will never return. A younger Male staff member was borderline insane, he came to our site to complain about things that didn’t make sense and where completely inappropriate. Even though the sites themselves are nice the Staff treats its guests like dirt....... Whatever happened to the customer is always right?? Nickerson is... More

The complaint by a camper called Melissa about our outside staff was shocking, to say the least. Many of the comments posted this year had very positive things to say about our outside staff, and their helpful attitudes to all in need of help. In this complaint, the author neglected to say why they had to be spoken by a... More

My husband and I have been vacationing almost yearly on Cape Cod for over 20 years! We love the Cape and now our 13 year old has been a Cape Cod vacationer since he was 8 months old! Having camped at many of the campgrounds without a doubt our absolute favorite is Sweetwater Forest Campground in Brewster. We would and... More

My family of 5 stayed over Labor Day. They accomodated us last minute, and gave us a great site! It was our first time using our camper, but the staff helped us all the way! We utlilized the camp store, mini golf, fishing, and the playgrounds! We had a great time, and will be returning for Columbus day! Thank you... More

We just returned from a 3 night camping trip at Sweetwater. We had a great time and would recommend this campground to anyone. The sites are all separated by trees allowing privacy for all. We have a 5 month old puppy so we brought her along. The kennel was an excellent feature of the campground ... low fees, clean, and... More

This was our first trip to the Cape and really didn't have an idea of the area so we decided this was neutral place. We have camped for many years and have seen our fair share of campgrounds. Sweetwater was great, in fact very comparable to our current seasonal campground. We found the staff / family very personable and informative.... More

We camped out at the Sweetwater Forest Campground for five days and I have not a single complaint to make. Very family friendly and clean. Bathrooms were cleaned every few hours. Electricity, water and picnic tables are available on every Site. I guess there are also cable hook-ups if you want to set up a TV. Car can be parked... More

We always camped at Nickerson (tenting and popup). This year we called too late and couldn't get in. On a recommendation from my brother (who has been to SWF for a few years now)....we called SWF. We WILL go back!! We loved it. We had a great site backing up to a pond (where the bullfrogs always sang their nightly... More
