My son got married on 5/5/12 and the reception was held here. I don't know where to begin...everything was amazing! We were greeted at the door and taken to a separate room for the bridal party and was catered to in every sense of the word. Plenty of food and drink and the coordinator, Julie even helped to bustle up... More

It brings us so much joy to hear great stories and testimonials from our guests. In this particular case, it is even more rewarding because everyone with your group was such a pleasure to work with. Thank you for the opportunity to serve you, and congratulations! David Marsh - General Manager More

I stay in the area 3 or 4 times a year and have been staying at the Crown Plaza. The Hotel is a bit tired and dated. For the price its about on par but I'm venturing out to another in Hunt Valley which is about 5 minutes away. There is little to do in the Crown Plaza Area and... More

We are currently making changes that I am sure will move us from “OK” to amazing. New Fitness Center equipment and new televisions are this weeks upgrades. Last week we upgraded our high-speed internet to make it lightning fast. Over the next few weeks there will be plenty more changes for the better. Thank you! David Marsh - General Manager More

This was a nice facility. The rooms were nice. The breakfast buffet was good. It was a great weekend place to hang out.

Imagine a typical Marriot style hotel which was grand at one time but then something happened and they never touched it again for 30 years. That's the Crowne Plaza North. In 1980 it was probably a grand hotel but now it has fallen apart. There is black mold in the bathrooms and when something needs patched it is not done... More

Thank you for taking the time to comment on your stay. I was distressed to read of the condition of your room. We are not aware of the specific room you described since we do not know of a room in that condition. We truly appreciate you calling it to our attention and are actively seeking out rooms that may... More

Our two night stay was convenient to the Maryland Fairgrounds. Could use some upgrading. Mattresses quite lumpy. Elevator was rediculously slow. Luggage carts were almost non-existant. Northern lights breakfast buffet was a disgrace, Cold powdered eggs in a steam tray, not the freshly made eggs they advertise. No toast of any kind on the buffet. Diner on York was a... More

I was disappointed to learn of the issues you encountered at our hotel. I will certainly make our breakfast buffet a priority. Cold eggs and a buffet that is generally unappealing are not acceptable. I will be working with our Food and Beverage team to fix the issues you described. On a positive note, I can assure you that we... More

Spent three nights stay at the midrise 4 story hotel mid March. Room was well kept but a little over the hill reflecting mid life of the furnishings & plumbing. Proximity to a venue of less than 1 mile away made the stay very convinient and there are several good resturaunts within easy access.

Thank you for staying with us! If your event was one mile away, I would venture to guess your event was at the Timonium Fairgrounds, and we certainly are very convenient to the Fairgrounds. It is also a lot of fun in August when the fair is in town. Thanks for calling us “Timonium’s best value”…You made my day! David... More

Originally a Holiday Inn "holidome", this is now branded as a Crown Plaza. Cosmetically, it is a nice place, and the staff works hard. But, small details are overlooked, and the structure itself is far from state of the art. It suffers most from being adjacent to the Interstate, with grooved pavement, so every vehicle whines loudly coming and going,... More

Understood, and changes are on the way. Our hotel actually opened in 1983. My first day on the job at this hotel was in 1991. I remember thinking that this was the best hotel I had ever seen. Today it’s still my favorite hotel (O.K. maybe I am just a bit biased being the General Manager and all). However, I... More

I was here for a conference in March, 2012. After reading the reviews I was expecting a disaster, but the place wasn't that bad. The hotel needs updating for sure, but my room which was in the 550's block was large and pretty clean. It was also very quiet because it didn't face the atrium and just faced in outdoor... More

I’m happy to report that those updates are on the way. Our staff will certainly appreciate your kind comments. I am also a big fan of our crab cakes. I love to find excuses to sample them…strictly for quality control reasons of course (haha!). Thank you for taking the time to review our hotel! David Marsh - General Manager More

This is hotel is fine for a place to sleep. The room was clean and the fixtures mostly worked. However, the room and most of the hotel is somewhat dated and in need of a revamp. The heater was loud and didn't throw off any heat until after I called for maintenance, then tried turning the fan on to full... More

Thank you so much for taking the time to post your comments. I am sorry that the volume of your heater was disturbing. We recognize the need for some updates and are planning to start renovations later this year. We will also be receiving new flat screen televisions for our guest rooms. We often host sports teams and their families,... More

As part of a large convention group, I was extremely disappointed in my stay at the Crowne Plaza - Baltimore North. It's unfortunate that our convention group has chosen this hotel to hold its event. It's more convenient to stay in the host hotel, but next year I think I will be looking for an alternative to this hotel. After... More

Thank you for your review of our hotel. I do appreciate that you chose to stay here at the Crowne Plaza Baltimore, and your continued loyalty is valued.
