“Locked Out of Room Twice”

We were visiting our son & daughter-in-law in Silver Spring for 4 days. We usually stay at the Sheridan in Rockville(parking our large van is easy there). Decided on Hilton Garden this time. There are 2 Hilton hotels in Silver Spring. The first one is the former Hilton Washington DC - Silver Spring (which is now re-branded as Double Tree by Hilton Washington DC - Silver Spring). Stayed here 4 nights while attending a training course in Silver Spring. The flexible rate booked a few months in advance was fantastic ($125 including breakfast). The front desk staff is more than indifferent, they are actively rude, and could care less what you think of them or their service.

We recently stayed here for 3 nights March 2012. The hotel is very clean with modern decor. The room was clean, beds comfortable, and quiet. “Hotel Great...but pool worthless”

Staff and room is fantastic with great adjustable beds (firmness). However, was mislead as wanted to get away with family and use the pool. Pool is tiny and doesnt even open till 5pm. Expensive mistake. Stuck in my room with kids now after disappointing trip to pool.

Stayed here for just a quick one night visit. Very nice, updated, comfortable, and clean. Bathroom was a little small. But the beds were very comfortable, loved the bedding!
