Booked the smallest room for a two night getaway , because we knew we wouldn't be spending a lot of time at the Inn . Bob was kind enough to upgrade us to a larger room . Didn't have much time to spend at the Inn because we were off visiting family, but it was a great place to come... More

We had planned to have a wonderful, romantic, off-season get-away at the Inn at the Canal, and Chef Bob provided a perfect setting. We stayed in Chesapeake Haven, and enjoyed a nice view of the canal. We learned a lot about opportunities for dinner and lunch the next day; Bob made us feel so perfectly at home. The Inn was... Stayed at this B & B for a relaxing "sisters" weekend. Everything was pure perfection - the rooms, the breakfast, the host! This stay was exactly what we were looking for. Rooms are authentically decorated and spotlessly clean. The common rooms, especially the dining room, was breathtakingly beautiful. We had a "Downton Abbey" tea and had fun dressing up. The... More

I surprised my husband with a weekend away for his 60th birthday. Our stay at the Inn at the Canal in Chesapeake City, MD was the icing on the cake. Our room, Greenbrier Point, had a beautiful view of the canal. Bob, one of the owners and chef, created delicious and plentiful breakfasts. Samantha, who served breakfast and made sure... More

A lovely B&B. We stayed in the Upper Bay Suite which is the largest room. It has a separate salon away from the bedroom which made the room seem more like and apartment. Full wet bar area was a very nice touch. The innkeepers Bob and Carol were attentive, warm, and accommodating. Breakfast was interesting and delicious. I would recommend... More

My husband and I just had the pleasure of staying at the Inn at the Canal Bed and Breakfast. We opted for the Upper Bay Suite which was like having our own little apartment with living room, kitchen and bedroom. The owners and staff could not have been more warm and accommodating. There are a couple restaurants just a stone's... More

We stayed in the "Snug Harbor" room for budget sake. It was exactly like it sounds, small, but perfect for us. It was clean and comfortable with wonderful, large windows. No water view in this room, but I enjoyed the view of the bridge. The innkeeper was friendly and made a wonderful breakfast. We traveled on our motorcycle for the... More

We stayed here for our anniversary. The innkeeper was very gracious and made a super breakfast! There were drinks and snacks in the dining room if we needed any. Our room was comfortable and had a view of the water. Chesapeake City is a quaint little town with some great shops. We will stay here again!

I spent so much time searching for the perfect B&B to stay at on our vacation, and I'm so glad I eventually found the Inn at the Canal. First of all, Chesapeake City is a beautiful and fascinating place. You're never far from the water, and you feel like you've stepped back in time. Watching huge ships float serenely and... More

We just returned from an amazing stay at the Inn at the Canal. The inn is beautiful and the town is great. Our room was Cassidy wharf and it was very comfortable and very clean. I felt right at home and at the inn and truly enjoyed our stay. The AC in the room was amazing and keep us very... More
