There are few truly waterfront places to stay in the York Harbor, Long Sands, York Beach area. This is the third (of 4 I think) where I have stayed. From the moment we checked in, we fell in love with the Viewpoint. The grounds are exceptionally manicured, the view from suite balcony (of cliffs/lighthouse) is stunning, the rooms feel clean but homey, and the location is prime--within a mile of everywhere you want to be. Stayed for 4 nights. Loved it. Views and grounds are perfect. Suites are nice and very clean. Decore is a little plain. Each suite has a patio or deck that overlooks Nubble Light and the ocean.
