The Bittersweet B & B is a home away from home. The Owners/Inn-keepers are friendly and accommodating. Their pride in their establishment shines through via the extremely well kept and very clean B & B. Breakfast is delightful, so I always head out with a full belly...and oh, I cannot say enough about the blueberry muffins. I hope they will... More

We stayed at the Bittersweet Bed and Breakfast for a night in September and totally enjoyed our stay. The owners were wonderful, the room was lovely, and the breakfast was oh so tasty. I very much hope to return to the Bittersweet B&B! More

This was our third stay at the "Bittersweet B&B" in York. Wonderful rooms, wonderful breakfasts and wonderful hosts. The property is impeccably maintained and delightfully decorated. The location is great, close to beaches, shopping, and attractions, and just a few minute's drive to Ogunquit. We recommend this B&B wholeheartedly, and will be back again next year! More

A great little Bed & Breakfast that is perfect for couples visiting York. The owners Ray and Victor are most welcoming and tend to your needs without ever being intrusive. The Inn is immaculate and and the grounds are beautifully landscaped. Be sure to try Victor's "Scrambled Cheese Eggs sans Cheese." We will return!! More

My husband and I stayed here three years ago and loved it. We decided to return with friends and show them a good time. The Inn owners, Victor and Ray, couldn't have been nicer or more hospitable. The Inn is immaculately kept. It's very quaint, very inexpensive, and very comfortable. You could not expect to get a better deal. Breakfast... More

I loved everything about the Bittersweet B&B. It is very clean and the owners are very nice/helpful. The price can't be beat and York is a great town. The blueberry muffins are fabulous and I found that they offered a nice selection at breakfast. I would recommend the Bittersweet to anyone. I was traveling by myself and felt very safe... More

We stayed here the last day in June on our way back down to Boston. This was a great inn, especially for the price! I could not believe that in June all of their rooms were $75! We ended up with a King sized bed, very updated bathroom, and a decent breakfast. For the price you just couldn't beat it.... More

My wife and her siblings planned this stay and all four couples loved this B&B. And one of the couples owns their own B&B. Ray and Vincent (the owners) are great hosts, and were so nice. The rooms were great and breakfast was wonderful. They were very sociable and volunteered to take group photos for us several times. We'll definitely... More

We stayed here in June 2011 in the Nautical Room. The entire B&B is pristinely clean, comfortably furnished and nicely decorated. It's not too "foo-foo" for men. We saw a couple of the other rooms and they were all very nicely done. The bathrooms were all completely renovated with brand new fixtures, flooring and paint. Our bed was comfortable and... More
