My friends and I wanted to sleep, read, eat, & relax for our weekend in the Sebago Lake area. I think we made the right choice in places to stay based on other places we saw around the lake. The woman (Deb) at the front desk (owner?) was very kind and helpful. We stayed in the 1A "fishbowl" room and... More

My husband and I got married at Sebago Lake Lodge on July 9th. We stayed at the lodge as did many of our guests. We had about 40 people at the wedding, and 20 of them stayed at the lodge (the rest lived locally). There were multiple options for our ceremony and our reception site. We chose to say our... More

We had a wonderful time renting one of the cottages in July 2011. The rooms were clean, the bed was adequate and the location ideal for our needs. More

At first I wasn't sure what to expect with this property but I was pleasantly surprised. We travelled to Maine so that I could attend a summer class on the campus of St. Josephs College which is approximately 5 minutes down the road. There really isn't any other lodging that is close so we took a chance and it really... More

Beautiful spot on Lake Sebago - the "campus" of cabins is literaly right on the water set amid the trees. Docks with canoe/kayaks, picnic tables, grills and fire-pits all right there and ready to go. The pro's are definitely the location and the scenery - canoeing, fishing off the docks etc. The con's are the cabins - built in 1920... More

We came over to Ireland to stay and had a fabulous time! Thank you to Deborah, (and to Blaine for the lasso lessons for the kids) Lovely, friendly, amusing, lady made our stay just perfect. The cottages are comfortable and have everything you need. Exactly the right standards for the price we paid and the lake was really warm and... More

We needed a place to stay to retrieve our daughter from her sleep-away camp located nearby and this was certainly the best of the bunch. Situated just above Sebago Lake, it's actually a nice spot. It's also located on Route 302, but being that it's Maine, this was really not a problem. The owner keeps the place as pretty and... More

If you're looking for a large, charming place with water on 2 sides, great views, a big friendly common room and lovely family pets, this could be for you. Deborah, the proprietor, is super friendly, has been running the show for 26 years, and upgraded us to a better room when it was clear she wasn't going to have a... More

We enjoyed a long Labor Day weekend in one of the lake cabins. The cabin was just what we expected from the photographs. It was cozy and clean with easy access to the lake. We had our boat in a slip in front and that worked out very well. We enjoyed the fire at night and also using the charcoal... More

Decrepit. Cheap. Hodge-podge furnishings. Paper thin walls. Dirty. Expensive. Cheap breakfast. A total rip-off. More
