Best place to stay in Wells area. Good value. Very nice owners. Love you Sally & Bob! Rooms are very clean & nice. Pool can use some work but it is always clean, comfortable temperature, friendly, & welcoming.

Ever since my family stayed at the Carriage House the first time,we do not stay anywhere else. we have been staying at the carriage house for 5 years now, consistently. it is located on rt 1, accessible to grocery shopping and touristy stuff as well as many great places to eat. the beach is only a few miles away,accesible by trolley,which is so much fun for little ones! there is also a beach a wee bit further... I was driving home after a week in the Maine woods when I happened on this lovely place. Innkeepers Bob and Sally were terrific, and the room was outstanding: immaculate and beautifully decorated. I swam laps in the pool, and followed Bob's advice and walked to Wells Beach for exercise. Don't pass it up!
