My girlfriend and I stayed at Migis Lodge this past weekend for my cousin's wedding. It was such an amazing experience, I felt compelled to write a review this morning. First, I will tell of our experience. We arrived Friday afternoon around 3:00 pm to a warm welcome, easy to talk to staff, and a welcome bag with goodies and... More

Thank you so much for your kind words............and for those of you who enjoy your evening news or special sporting events with company (Wimbledon comes to mind) there actually is a tv hiding behind those cabinet doors in the main lodge living room! More

Destination weddings are the trend lately and I was invited to be a part of the celebration , to take place at Migis Lodge in South Casco, ME. It was unknown to me, but proved to be a spectacular setting !! At first, all seemed too rustic, but what a misconception. The "cottages" are spacious, sparkling clean and well appointed... More

The Migis has a "never-never land" feel to it as you wind through the pines along their country road driveway before emerging from the woods into a blissful, serene resort residing along the shores of pristine lake Sabego. Beatifully placed guest "cabins" along footpaths stretch around the bay rekindle memories of summer camp... only with running water, electricity, wifi! The... More

Thank you for your thoughtful review, Michael. We are so happy you enjoyed your 'never-never land' stay! And do allow us to mention that we are a destination resort for families both small and large, often multi-generational families. Also, for decades, a particularly popular activity all summer long starting at 7:00 am is water-skiing, for which we also offer instruction... More

I love Maine and spent summers as a child in Maine. As an adult I have returned to coastal locations for vacations which were great, however never captured the magic of my Maine memories until we stayed at Migis last summer. The rustic setting and casual manner, does not really show how magical a visit can really be.It took a... More

Migis is a series of understated homey cabins, where you feel like you are visiting your old aunt on campgrounds that are perfectly maintained and are incredibly comfortable for adults. Dining is in a lodge for dinner, that offers lobster every nite. Lunches are offered outside on tin camp trays with the most amazing bbq burgers, hotdogs, beans, stews, chilis... More

Perfect for all ages. The food is first quality. Excellent service, working fire places ready to be lit(Maine nights can be chilly even in the summer) rustic, but very comfortable cabins of every size, every water sport available, beautiful lake clear crisp water, great walking and hiking near by, places to read and be quiet.Loved being with family and also... This October we made our first visit to Migis. We truely enjoyed our three night visit: the food was great, service outstanding & truely amazing sunsets. I took out a sailboat for the first time in 35 years, it was great. I enjoy planning driving trips for my wife & I to extraordinary places our friends have not only never... More

Migis Lodge is a resort from another era: Men sport jackets to the six-course dinners, guests toast s'mores at a bonfire beneath the stars, your cottage's fieldstone fireplace is prepped each morning by a "cabin boy" for a quick starting fire in the evening. Some resorts might be content to let the setting do the work, but the staff at... More

If you like Robert Redford's Sundance in Utah for a western cottage style stay, you will like the Migis Lodge. It has the rustic Maine touch that makes you feel like you are at camp, but with all the amenities including 5 course dinners, nicely appointed rooms and an in house pastry chef! Motor boats, sail boats, kayaks, SUP boards,... More
