We spent three nights here, and wouldn't hesitate to return. The room was clean, spacious, with excellent bathroom facilities. Beds were very comfortable, and we had a lovely view of the Penobscot Bay! The owner was very helpful and pointed out some local features not usually on the radar for tourists, but we found them delightful.

This is an older roadside motel. While the views are nice the rooms, well, not so much. The carpet was stained and pretty filthy. Furniture was rather uncomfortable. That said is considering the price and what other places in the area charge, it's not too bad. Next time I think I'd spend a few extra bucks and stay elsewhere though.

Ledges By The Bay is THE cleanest hotel I have ever stayed in. For the standard room, the size was bigger than expected and the balcony overlooking the bay is awesome! I will definitely choose this hotel as opposed to any other in the area, regardless of season!
