We were given room 11 which is small, but that was ok. What bothered us very much was the filthy carpet and the must smell. The bed linen and towels were clean. The bed was comfortable and the bathymétrie was clean. The bathroom was clean, but we had to bend in two to reach the sink. It was almost impossible... More

The location of this Inn is perfect. It's on Shore Road, a block from the beach and is extremely convenient. It's hard to believe that an Inn in such a perfect location would have older rooms, peeling paint outside and overgrown grass. Granted, the price of the room is $100 less expensive than the Inn across the street so it... More

If you like dogs, being a short walk to the beach, in the center of town, and a great value, then this is the place to stay. We loved being able to walk everywhere! The kids were comfortable, loved the westie in residence and the ice cream shop across the street. More

The West Highland Inn offers one amazing thing: its location. A friend and I decided to take a roadtrip from NYC to Maine in July 2011 and last minute needed a B&B in Ogunquit for a night. The Innkeeper, Steve, was very helpful and even gave us a better than advertised rate b/c it was so last minute. (Thank you... More

The owner was friendly and the fall rate couldn't be beat. it was steps to the center as well as the marginal way. Food was average but was lacking in quality. the room was actually a suite with separate sitting room and inbetween that and the bedroom was a little counter area and small refrigerator. was worth the price. We were heading up the coast of Maine and loved the beach of Ogunquit so much that we decided to stay. We drove around a bit and liked the outside look of the West Highland Inn. Luckily enough they had a vacancy. Our room was great! The decor was very charming but not kitchy, it was a very good sized... More

We just returned from a great stay at the West Highland Inn. Comfortable, clean, reasonably priced and in the heart of Ogunquit. One block from the beach, local shops and restaurants are right across the street, the Ogunquit trolley stops less than a block away. More

We stayed for four nights and had a wonderful time at the inn. Part of its charm is in its age so don't expect a hotel experience. The owner is very helpful and low keyed in his approach. We loved having drinks in the front yard with the gardens and people watch. We found that the majority of people during... More

Have just returned from a stay at the West Highland Inn, Ogunquit Maine. The inn is spotless, breakfast is delicious, location is marvelous. The inn is owned by a couple named Linda and Steve. Steve aims to please, but Linda gives a new meaning to the words nasty and rude. It is a shame she overshadows Steve to the point... More

Stayed at the West Highland Inn 8/25 - 8/27/06. This is just an average Inn. Has many rooms and parking is tight. The location of this inn is great, close to everything in town. The place does show alittle wear. Our bathroom needed a make over. The owner is very friendly. Many other Bed & Breakfast choices if we return... More
