We've been to the Mariner Resort the week before Labor Day in 2010 and 2010. The first time was because of the glowing reviews on Trip Advisor and a great mid-week special price. The second year was because we couldn't wait to go back (and they also the same great special)! Everything in the Ogunquit area, even the "tourist town"... More

We only stayed here one night but if we had known how nice it is we would have planned to stay longer. Ogunquit is a fun little town. Great little shops to poke around in. Nice restaurants. The Mariner Resort is a short drive away from the center of town. This place looks like it would be fun for a... More

Have stayed at the Mariner several times in recent years. The rooms are spacious and comfortable, and the property is consistently well-maintained and clean. The owners and staff are the nicest people and seem genuinely interested in making sure you enjoy your visit. More

This motel would be great for families vacationing together. It is not a romantic spot and I would not stay there again for a couples weekend. It is not close to downtown! I thought from the literature that is was closer. Walking downtown is well over a mile. The hotel is very clean and had a full size refrigerator and... More

This is a great place to stay on a budget. It's right on the trolley line if you want to go into town or the beaches. Ogunquit has some excellent restaurants but you can save some cash by walking over to Ogunquit Pizza and eat in the Adirondack chairs overlooking the Ogunquit River. Save your food and drinks in the... More

We stayed one night in a room with two queen beds. There was a ramp from the parking lot to the first floor rooms and we took stairs to the second floor from there. It was a large room on the second floor with windows that overlooked the walkway to the rooms and had a view of the salt marsh... More

We stayed at the Mariner on monday and tuesday in September. We neglected to make a reservation, assuming it wouldn't be terribly busy mid-week. We got the last avilable room (a 3 bed suite) and although it was a little more than we wanted to spend, the private balcony overlooking the pool, river, and seashore in the distance was a... More

I recommend the Mariner as clean, enjoyable place to stay on your Maine tour. Beds were firm but soft if possible. Nicely fresh linens, View of the ocean on distant Ogunquit Beach. Modestly priced on a very busy weekend of Sept 10/11. They had an indoor and outdoor pool as well as a hot tub. Lovely well maintained gardens of... More

Stayed at the Mariner and had a wonderful time! Very clean, neat and great location. Far enough away from town center and hubbub but close enough to take trolley or venture a short 5-10 min. drive. Parking is dicey in Ogunquit so best to take trolley. Our room overlooked the marshes and ocean behind it. Received tips on where to... More

My 7 year-old daughter and I spent 3 days at the Mariner. The room was spacious, clean and comfortable. It included a full-sized fridge and a microwave. The hotel is not new, but is well-maintained. Our favorite activity at the hotel was the pool. There is a good-sized outdoor pool and a small indoor pool right next to it. From... More
