My husband is in Newport on a work assignment. He tried out Lovely's...which isn't so lovely. Considering there are no choices of places to stay, Pray's will have to do!! The owner and housekeeping lady are very nice. The rooms are dated/updated...lol New ceilings and light fixtures but still old wood panel walls and old furniture. The rooms are clean... More

Overall decent place to lay your head. Biggest problem is if someone farts in the room next to you it sounds like an bomb. The walls are paper thin!! More

We've stayed here twice, once in May and once in October. Clean, good location, and great value. We like that the bedroom is split off from the main area so if someone is up late or early they can do so without waking the others up. It's better than the other spot we have stayed in here in Newport. Plus... More

I stayed at Pray's Motel for two nights in May and liked it so much I returned for two more nights in June with my dog. Pray's is a small 10 room motel located in back of a gas/service station and I agree with the other TripAdvisor members that this place is a great value. For about $50/night you get... More

My family and I stayed at Pray's Motel because of an unexpected situation. I was very surprised at how homey and clean this place was. It may not be the most modern motel, but we found our stay to be nice, quiet, and comfortable and all of us thoroughly enjoyed the room lay-out and the amenities were that of home.... More

Traveling through to New Hampshire stopped for the night after reading about the quality of accomodations around Bangor decided to try Pray's Motel. Outside looks are deceiving, this motel is clean, comfortable and inexpensive. More

I am writing this review on behalf of my mother. We now live in Florida but used to be residents of Newport and travel there to visit family about 3 times per year. This past visit was about the 3rd consecutive time that reservations have been lost or "mixed up". Because of these mistakes, my mother has been forced to... More

By far the best value in the area. Located behind a full service gas station with off street parking. Wireless internet worked great. Clean room with wood paneling. Separate living room, bathroom bedroom. In a residential neighborhood less than 5 minutes from I-95. Comfortable bed, hot shower, good towels. Try Anglers' restaurant right down the road for good seafood ! More

I stayed here with two friends in December 2009 on our way to Sugarloaf for a ski trip. I feel it had everything we needed, including a fridge a microwave, and great wireless internet. The room was dated really bad, but for $50 a night it was quite and comfortable. I would stay here again if I were passing through. More
