We stayed at Nesowadehunk campground in the park and it was beautiful! We were camped within hearing distance of a family with a crying baby. We had to cart our stuff to our site, but it was a short walk. There are no showers or running water, but it worked for us as a place to stay overnight before hiking... More

Very rustic and simple yet pristine campgrounds. No electricity, running water or trash bins. Outhouses only for bathroom facilities. Limited lean to and bunk facilities otherwise tents. No RVs allowed. Beautiful scenery and running brooks. Don't forget your bug spray. Mainers are intent in keeping the grounds this way and are vigilant about it. Few crowds.
