My boyfriend and I went up to Greenville for the whitewater rafting this past weekend (6/15.2013). I coordinated the trip and hotel stay with Jessica, the owner of the Indian Hill Motel. She took care of everything...we had the most wonderful time. The rafting was excellent, the guides were awesome and made us feel safe, and we had lots of... More

This has got to be one of my all time favorites! We were going into Greenville, Maine (and you have to be going there, you won't just happen to be there) for the purpose of a photography canoe trip with a local outfitter. This little motel was listed directly across the street from our outfitters so we said, sure..why not.... More

Dear Janice, Thank you so much for your kind review. You are absolutely correct, our motel is over 60 years old! My husband and I just took over the motel less than a year and a half ago and little by little we have been trying to add simple things to each room to make it more comfortable. It's so... More

This was our first trip to the Moosehead area. The location was perfect for snowmobiling and very convenient to amenities. Jessica and Jeremy, the motel owners couldn't be nicer. They were very helpful in advising us on what to see on on snowmobile travels.

We recently stayed at the Indian Hill Motel in Greenville, Maine. While staying at the motel, we took advantage of booking an excursion with Northeast Guide Service. They offer many wonderful opportunities to enjoy the beauty of the area. The motel & Guide Service is owned and operated by a hardworking & knowledgable young couple. They answered many questions and... More

My husband and I were in Greenville recently and stayed at Indian Hill Motel. We were pleased with our accomodations - reasonable rate, clean, comfortable room and fantastic view of Moosehead Lake! The motel is located close to "downtown" Greenville and right across the road from Northeast Guide Service which is owned and operated by the same couple who run... More

A group of us came to Greenville for the fly-in and stayed at the Indian Hill Motel. The owners were very nice and made sure that our stay was pleasant. The motel was in a very nice location with great views of Moosehead Lake from all rooms. The price for lodging was extremely reasonable and I plan to stay at... More

The price was right for the area and the holiday bookings- $89. There is an adventure booking building right across the street associated with the hotel. Also a liquor store, trading post and grocery store. Only 3/10 mi. to downtown.

We were very unhappy with this motel. Everything in the room was old, the bed was lumpy and the sink water drainage was very poor. There was one old window air conditioner that was covered by curtains so there was very poor cooling with the curtains drawn. We would not recommend this motel.

we were coming into town for a single purpose -- to go on a moose safari. This place offered a good combo deal -- the motel is on one side of the street, the guide office is on the other side. The view from the room is spectacular -- panoramic view of Moosehead Lake. The motel is very basic. It... More

if you need luxury, don't stay here. If you're happy with a clean, comfortable room, with plenty of space and hot water, this is the spot. The room was simple, but very clean; the beds comfy. It was quiet and we slept like rocks. The water temp in the shower was hard to adjust, and went from hot enough to... More
