Thank you so much for your kind hospitality. We really enjoyed the stay, despite the weather. Thank you for your understanding and generous allowance for our early departure. We plan to return for bird hunting this season and will give you a call for availability. We'd also like to return next spring for fishing on Second West Branch Pond and... More

We recently returned from only a 2 night stay with our two sons--what a great time. SO QUIET! The hosts are great-friendly, helpful (the Abbot Bakery tip was SPOT ON!!) and our boys had a terrific time fishing, kayaking and canoeing. Plan to spend more nights next summer--wish we could go back now!! Even the chickens were friendly!! The attached... More

We just returned from our four night stay, marking our third year at Spencer Pond Camps with our young boys. The owners make you feel right at home! The cabins are very clean and well equipped. We spend our days fishing, kayaking, canoeing, hiking, and biking. We enjoy being one with nature, seeing the fantastic wildlife and hearing the beautiful... More

Just a great place to go. Has just about everything you need in a cabin, even the games for a rainy day. Swimming, kayaking, fishing or just relaxing, it's quiet and peaceful. Got fresh eggs every morning. Owners are very nice, even treated us to some lobster our first night. RECOMMEND IT 100%

Our first visit to Spencer Pond Camps won't be our last. Enjoyed the quiet, the absolutely beautiful scenery, hiking and canoeing and hearing the loons at night. The cabin was comfortable and cozy. Loved being away from the internet and TV too.

Let me first say that if you hear any bad reviews, that's because the previous owners were quite unpleasant... The current owners are as nice as can be and treated us like family. Tranquil and peaceful, but with plenty to do. Canoeing, moose watching, biking, fishing or just sitting around. There are canoes, kayaks, rowboats, and bikes that are free... More

This was our first family vacation with our ten month old and two dogs, as well as our first time in Maine. The camp is as secluded as advertised, which means peace, quiet, and a whole lot of wildlife. Both my wife and I observed moose in the pond during morning kayak trips, and plenty of deer, turkey, grouse, loons,... More

Since I was in highschool my most fond memories are of of July at Spencer Pond. Also where this year I married my first love of 19 years ago. Spencer Pond is where he and I got started and where he and I came back to get married on the same day in 1993 when he arrived. Dana and Christie... More

This was our second time and enjoyed it as much as the first. Love all the wildlife, and the special visiting friends that come say hello (chickens, cat and dog). Dana and Christie went out of their way to make sure everything was in order and we were well taken are of. I would not hesitate to recommend this camp... More

I have been to over 35 sporting camps in Maine and the breath-taking view of Little Spencer Mountain from the Spencer Pond Camps surpasses all others dramatically, putting these camps in a catagory of their own. Christie and Dana are two of the friendliest and cheerful hosts, making everyone feel comfortable and meeting the needs of each guest. I would... More
