We enjoyed the Holiday Inn in Freeport, Maine. The staff at the front desk were very friendly and the bed was very comfortable. We will definitely stay here again. More

Stayed for two nights in a King Suite which was large enough to not feel cramped. Our room, and the rest of the hotel, seemed clean and no complaints with the service we recieved. “Hotel listing claims this is downtown Freeport...not the case..try 3 miles down the road”

This place would be a lot better if they didn't claim to be walking distance to downtown Freeport. This is about 3 miles down the road from downtown and the only thing that it is walking distance to is the highway which is situated right outside the back windows of this place. “Better Options Available”

Everything about this hotel screams out desperation. From the lackluster staff, to the thin worn out linens, to the ownership group looking to nickle and dime between available room classes. It is apparent that this hotel was built not with hospitality in mind but as a free standing ATM way too class to the interstate. More

All the elements are there for a great holiday inn express but a bit of a soul-less and forgetable experience really. Check in was efficient but hardly friendly and welcoming. Room was clean and well maintained. Breakfast was in a nice dining room but had run out of pastries completely by 8am (served until 0930 usually) and there was no-one... More

My friend and I decided to book this hotel for our girls weekend. The room was clean and comfortable. We were not on the I-95 side, so it was pretty quiet. The staff was very nice, and helpful. My family stays at various Holiday Inn Express properties on a regular basis. I think I can declare this one the worse one we have ever been to. It's not a bad place to stay but compared to other HIX it does not sparkle. The front desk staff were generally indifferent (just like a previous stay a few years ago).... More
