We rented a camper with another couple and 1 child and we brought our 4 year old daughter- so with 4 adults and 2 children,... More

My family and I have been staying at this campground for about five years. This campground is family and pet friendly. the owners knew us and our dogs by name from the moment we sterted camping there. We looked at many campgrounds in the area, none can compare to the level of service that this place has. More

I called for reservations and they said they were booked. I asked if there was another Campground on Toddy and they told me NO! I went online and found this Great Place called Wandering Moose Campground right up the road from Balsam Cove. This was after asking 3-4 times if there was another place to stay on Toddy Pond and... While I must apologize to you for whom ever miss guided you in referring you to another campground on Toddy Pond, most people we have sent to the other campground are not happy with Wanderin Moose. Since you could not get a site here at Balsam Cove Campground, I am sure you understant that since we were full we must... More

2011 was our first vacation at Balsom Cove. We had ten days on the lake and the site was very nice and the campground was quiet, although we were there prior to the summer rush. The campground owners are very nice and working hard to make upgrades to sites and facilites. We look forward to returning in June of 2012. More

They have very affordable rates and the amenities are completely gratifying. Not only is it one of the friendliest campsites around, there is plenty for... More

We stayed at this campground for 11 nights and enjoyed every moment of it. The owners, Michelle and Joe, and their staff couldn't be more accomodating, friendly and efficient. Any question or request that we had was immediately responded to in a positive and congenial manner. We felt that this campground provided the quintessential Maine camping experience with the tranquility... More

My wife and I and a small group of friends make a yearly trip there and each year we have seen the grounds grow and more offered to the campers there. They have really expanded the grounds and offer alot... More
