Stayed here for our annual trek to Camden. The hosts are wonderfully knowledgeable about the area. We got to 'taste test' a new breakfast item and hope they have it next year when we go back. Warm April weather let us sit out on the porch to watch a couple of boats going by on the Penobscot. Truly a lovely... More

Of all B&Bs we have visited, this one held the best of everything. The moment you walk up the stairs to the large porch, where I spent many mornings drinking coffee, this home invites you in. The location, removed from the hustle and bustle of the town, is still close enough that it is not a drudgery to get to... More

My husband and I spent a charming weekend in Camden, Maine and had the great fortune to stay at the Timbercliffe Cottage. The moment we walked into the foyer it seemed as if we were transported to another era. The inn was completely restored to its original colonial essence. Dave and Karen have taken great pride, time and research to... More

We found the Timbercliffe Cottage B&B a perfect place to stay, if you are looking for good old New England charm. Our room was not only clean, but also decorated with an exquisite eye for detail. Someone definately did their research - the color schemes, the fabrics, the furniture, the wall hangings all reflecting Early American decor. Karen and Dave... More

We received a warm welcome by Innkeepers who could have written" the book" on the subject. The home is early American- period decorated and neat as a pin. Rooms of all sizes accommodate the needs of individual guests. Breakfast was, in a word, "wonderful". Timbercliffe Cottage is located in close proximity to the downtown Camden area and yet far enough... More

We stayed at this B&B a couple of weeks ago. We truly enjoyed. We have been warmly welcomed by Dave, shown our cosy room and introduced to the area. Dave also gave us some good suggestions of things to do. We had the Captain Pendleton Chamber. It is warm, small and cosy and has a nice view on the bay.... More

Thank you for your nice review. As you mentioned we are not in the center of Camden thus we do not have a problem with noise from traffic etc. We are approximately 3/4 mile from the center of town (walking distance) which is stated on our website. As a suggestion to all travelers, please read the details about any B&B... More

We have stayed at a lot of B&B's over the last few years and this was by far the best experience yet. Dave and Karen could give lessons to other innkeepers on how to achieve just the right balance of family atmosphere and personal privacy. From the warm greeting at the front door to the delicious homemade breakfast and warm... More

Camden is a lovely town in a beautiful part of our country. We stayed in the 1620 Chamber at Timbercliffe the second week in October. What an amazing place and what wonderful hosts Karen and David were. Everthing about Timbercliffe exceeded our expectations (and we've stayed at a lot of B&Bs around the world). It is as beautiful and roomy... More

We recently spent a night at Timbercliffe, and wish we could have made it longer - that's the trouble with having to book things ahead of time - if you like a place you have to move on, even though you'd like to linger! The Inn itself is beautifully restored, and hosts David and Karen were very welcoming indeed. My... More
